Wash inside out, at a cool temperature, ideally 30°C or a cold wash setting. This helps maintain the fabric's integrity and prevents excessive shrinkage. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach to preserve the colour and texture.
After washing, reshape your garment while it's still damp. Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not tumble dry your garment as this puts stress on the fabric's structure and leads to shrinkage or distortion.
Iron your garment on a low to medium setting to restore its original structure and remove any creases. This helps the cotton fibres relax and return to their natural state.
Store your garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Fold them neatly or hang them to avoid creases and maintain their shape.
Address stains promptly. Soak the stained area in cold water before washing. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they can damage the cotton fibres.
